Youth Leader Delegate Application

Creating Chances and its partners, Football United, UNSW, Common Goal, FIFA and Football Australia, are pleased to invite you to register to be a Volunteer during Festival23 in Sydney, Australia in August 2023.

Festival23 is an international youth festival held during the quarter-final stage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, welcoming 70 female leaders (aged 18-30) across Australia and New Zealand, and communities worldwide, to realise the biggest social legacy of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.  Young Leader Delegates will take part in:

• Leadership training & capacity building workshops

• Cultural exchange activities

• Coordinating and Delivering a Fair Play Football Festival tournament 

• Community engagement activities

Volunteers at Festival23

The volunteers will support all areas of the event, have the opportunity to interact with remarkable young people from across the globe, and to contribute to making the festival a great success. Volunteers will be expected to support the festival from July 31st until August 14th (you will not necessarily be required to be available every day between this timeframe. You will have the opportunity to provide your availability in the application form).

 All Festival 23 activities will be based in the Greater Sydney area, with some community activities delivered by local community groups in regional NSW.
